Front Wheel carts are a more challenging learning curve than rear wheel carts, and require commitment from the dog owner to actually train the dog to use the cart. Using clicks and treats to lure a dog into the cart and move forward, eventually the dog learns that the cart will give them increased mobility and stamina. Zachary needed a cart after many years of wearing out his remaining front leg had left him sore and lame. He was reduced to being carried around in a little red wagon until he received his front wheel cart from Eddie’s Wheels. Now he’s back to work as a service dog, visiting nursing home and hospitals.
